Dating Do: What to Bring On a Beach Date

Love the beach? Love to love? Combine both with a relaxing date in the beauty of nature; the beach is the ideal setting for fun while you get to know your new friend/partner. Water, sand, clear skies, and a special person are a great mix. With such fabulous beaches in the Fort Myers, Estero, Bonita, and Naples area, a special date awaits. Learn what to bring on this date to make it more fun, safer, and more relaxing.

4 Beach Essentials For An Awesome Date

1. Should you bring your own sunscreen?

Yes, nothing interrupts romance like the throbbing pain of sunburn. If you plan on watching the sunset together, a sunburn will kill the mood. More dates in the future come with great memories, so be smart and create pleasant ones.

2. Do you need any towels?

We provide two beach towels with our Lounging Around package. Bringing a large towel will help you get the sand off your bodies at the end of the day.

3. Should you bring a waterproof bag or case?

There are many benefits to playing in the water. You and your date become happier. Whether hugging or splashing, fun ensues. The physical reasons for a dip in the water include:

  • Increased serotonin – puts you in a better mood.
  • More oxytocin, from hugging, etc. – known as the “love hormone.”

On the other hand…

You don’t want the day to be spoiled by your things getting full of sand. Neither having your phone getting wet while trying to capture the moment romping in the water.

4. What are some good toys for play (at the beach)?

Interaction is a great way to get together. A beach ball is always fun and gets you moving as well as interacting. You can also bring a frisbee, football, water guns, or other beach toys that two can play with.

In addition to toys, you can bring your own food or beverages. Depending on the package you choose, we provide refreshments such as a fruit and cheese platter and sodas but feel free to bring your favorite snacks and drinks. You’ll have a cooler with ice to keep them cold.

Getting to know a person for the first time or reconnecting is fabulous on a beautiful beach in southwest Florida. Warm Gulf waters and gentle breezes create a setting for love. The best thing is that you don’t have to worry about the hassles of bringing all kinds of things to the beach; we do it for you.
